Since getting shut out by the 2008 NBA Champions Boston Celtics last playoff finals no one really expected the Lakers to bounce back into 08-09 season with a record of 24-5 and 16-2 in their division. On Christmas night K.Bryant finished with 27 pts 9 rebs 5 assist shooting 13-23 behind the FG. Some analyst are left wondering if the Lakers can live up to the 96 Bulls. Coach Phil Jackson last week told a reporter that the team has built alot of chemistry after losing in the Finals to All-star Paul Pierce & the Boston Celtics. With the NBA talent level, so many young players coming into the league at a fine time. The NBA could be in the making of many surprises when the 2009 Playoffs start.
